Today more than ever, the educated consumer is looking for natural ways to achieve their greatest health potential. They realize that their lifestyle today directly impacts their quality of life in the decades ahead. It’s beautiful to see people in their early twenties requesting lab workups and then instituting the needed changes and watching their health improve in short order. But it’s even more rewarding when we get to help someone suffering with a chronic illness, especially when toxic drugs didn’t have the desired outcome. Our bodies were made to self-regulate…to heal and repair. Unfortunately, we consume lots of things that damage our cells and nearly all of us lack the full compliment of vital nutrients needed to prevent and heal from illness or injury. Drugs have their place but their use should be a tiny fraction of what it is today. Diet and lifestyle have proven definitively that they are the keys to health. There were very few cases of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s before the 19th century, and it’s not because there was a huge pharmaceutical industry. Today we’re encouraged to think our cholesterol is high because we have a lack of statin drugs coursing through our veins. I witness health being restored to my patients day in and day out. Using food and supplements as our medicine is not only highly effective but it’s non-toxic and carries virtually no risk of later developing a life-threatening disease. Watch just one TV commercial and you know every drug has it’s life-damaging side effects.
In my offices, we offer a science-based approach to healthcare that uses comprehensive lab testing which gives us the ability to recommend the right diet and the right supplements. Many health conditions present in the blood long before you actually “feel” symptoms. Did you know you could have only 20% liver or kidney function left and still virtually have no symptoms? How do you know if you’re truly healthy? Specific tests, when read properly, will indicate whether or not you are progressing toward a serious illness, such as cancer, liver disease, heart disease, and many other health conditions.
A complete Nutritional Blood Analysis will determine:
- How healthy you really are
- What problems are just beginning
- What diseases you have
- What dietary and lifestyle changes you should make
- If the supplements you are taking are working
Beginning with a comprehensive consultation, we will determine the appropriate testing that should be performed to identify the cause of your health condition. Using a complete blood analysis and other diagnostic tools, an in-depth analysis of your body function will be performed. The testing will show where the problem areas are occurring or beginning to develop. Your detailed report will explain your test results, as well as the nutrient and dietary recommendations based upon your test results. Our natural health solutions are based upon scientific and objective testing including blood, urine and hair analysis. The Science-Based Nutrition™ report provides individual, drug-free recommendations to promote optimum health based on imbalances and dysfunction identified from the test results.
No general screening test is more efficient, effective and affordable than a comprehensive blood chemistry panel. It allows us to establish a baseline of bio-markers to track your health and nutritional needs. Getting a blood test is essential to understanding your current health.
The Science Based Nutrition™ program is an innovative, science-based look at nutritional strengths and weaknesses along with internal toxins and deficiencies present in your body through an individual blood test and analysis of hair, urine, and stool. This scientific approach can offer a clear plan for your optimum health.
Most blood tests are compared to “normal ranges” via your results report. If you are within the “normal range” you are likely to be told you they are normal. However, there is a difference between being “normal” and being “healthy.” Testing within the normal range does not necessarily mean you are healthy, as many people incorrectly believe.
The problem lies in how normal ranges are determined.
Normal ranges are determined by taking approximately 100 to 200 people who tested recently with a particular lab (yes, they are determined by each individual lab and not a centralized agency). These results are then averaged – this is the middle of the normal range. The high and low sides of the normal range will be two standard deviations from the average.
Unfortunately, most peoples’ results used in these calculations are flawed; they were having blood tests run in the first place because they already had a health problem!
Does it make sense to compare your blood test results to averages taken from people who were already experiencing health issues? No! That is why being “normal” is not good enough! Normal blood test scores simply mean you are not yet as sick as the other people used to determine the normal range.
Don’t wait until you have symptoms to take charge of your health. We recommend that you be proactive instead of reactive when it comes to your number one asset – your health. The sooner you know what toxins and deficiencies you have the sooner you can remove them and improve your health. Your health and wellness are dictated by your lifestyle choices so choose well, live well, and be well!
